You have probably heard of the term All-In-One(AIO) computer a lot when shopping for computers. An All-In-One(AIO) computer is like an intermediate between a laptop and a normal desktop computer. All-in-One computers combine the monitor and the CPU into one component with the only peripheral devices being the mouse and the keyboard.

The specs for All-In-One computers are similar to those of laptops and desktops i.e. processors, display specs, RAM and storage. This computers are quickly gaining liking among computer shoppers because of how space efficient they are aespecially in places like your garage where space is a factor.

Desktop computers are bulky if you are always on the move, the compact structure of an All-In-One computer on the other hand make it easy for you to move with your workstation.

The downside with an All-In-One computer as compared to a normal desktop is that it is harder to repair an All-In-One computer. To repair and upgrade hardware of an AIO computer, it is harder to access the parts and requires the screen to be removed severally. It needs to be handled delicately because a simple mistake may break the screen and that will call for a more costly repair. Also, due to their compact structure, the AIO computers’ performance is affected.

If you are all about screen size, then All-In-One computers are your best bet. AIO computers come with bigger display screens such as the 24″ HP 24 All-In-One Core i5 4GB 1TB desktop. Laptops come with smaller display screens that mostly range between 11″ and 19″.

The small structure of laptops make them highly portable hence very flexible if you are always on the move. Although the AIO computers are compact, they are not as portable as laptops.
